I am a patient of Dr. Derek Rowland. I had been in a medical boot for 16 years due to having no ankle joint from a motorcycle wreck. I went... read more to my husbands appointment and they asked what I had done to be in the boot. They said they had a Dr that could help me! Dr Rowland said he could give me an artificial ankle replacement that he felt like it would really improve my quality of life. He explained all pros and cons an that he could not guarantee how much flexibility it would give me. He thought it should definitely take away my pain and get me out of the boot, and hopefully give me more range of motion. I do feel that he is a kind, caring man, I have never been rushed at an appointment. He always answers All questions an explains everything. I feel he is a kind and caring person and that means a lot. Dr Rowland makes you feel like you are his only patient. I am very grateful for a the opportunity of a better quality of life.
